Norco has a winner of a line up for 2012. Would love them to release some Carbon squish bikes soon

I did ask Norco's designers about carbon frames on some of the longer travel mountain bikes, but was told not to expect them in the near future.

Honestly, carbon DH sleds are the latest trend atm, but I'd be more into the practicality of a carbon Sight/Range.

Ha! By "longer travel" I meant "more than 140mm". Obviously, that means no carbon Sight and no carbon Range in the near future. The Norco guys seem pretty comfortable with the weights and overall performance of their aluminum frames.

Understandable. Just interesting that the 2012 Range LE comes equipped with carbon cranks, bars, and rims. Figured carbon frame would be the next step
