    Zokes 44 thoughts? Anyone?

So you guys running the new 44 on their WFO have some Med term thoughts yet? Are you guys still having troubles with the axle?

The axle problem was solved with aquisition of a 2010 axle. There's still a little stiction as the seals are breaking in. It's definitely stiffer than my REBA, but you knew that already. I'm not that versed in suspension, but I don't have any complaints. That doesn't mean that I won't dream about a 29er Lyrik a few years down the road. But for now, I'm content.

To paraphrase Montgomery Burns: I'm not a suspension expert, but I know what I hate and I don't hate this.

Glad to hear it was only the axle.

I'm hoping that the new format for the 44 works out better than the 09's.

Maybe now that Intense is using 140mm 29er forks as well, some of the other manufacturers will step up to offer options.
