    why no AM hardtail?

just wondering why a company based around 29 inch bikes doesn't cover all bases. These short stayed, slack HA bikes are a blast to ride.I thought Niner showed a prototype a few years back

I came on here with the intention of asking the exact same question!

They had photos of a RIP9 HT a while back.

Just a demo bike to gauge interest would be my guess.

There seemed to be a TON of it, but no bike made!
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?

I slackened my size small ONE 9 (round tube version) by using FOX RLC 120. So stealth! It really does well on downhills.
