    What kind of RP23 on RIP?

    Are the RIPs shipped with Boost Valve RP23 now?

    The one that came on my WFO last October has boost valve, i think RIP should
    Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?

    Yes, they ship with the RP23 BoostValve.

    what does the boost valve do exactly?

    I think my frame is an '09 and it does not...

    I got given two answers on this:

    Fox - increases progression on the stroke and smooths bottom out.

    Suspension tuning company - not that different, it adds a presure valve that must be overcome to move the shock. makes propedal stiffer/softer depending on setting.

    The boost valve was Fox '10, so september/October '09 they hit market.

    There really isn't much info about it, I looked hard.
