    Tapered Niner carbon fork ?

Do you guys plan to offer tapered carbon fork in raw colour ?
Plenty of carbon HT's with tapered headtubes coming out to the market right now and I'm sure demand will be high for such fork.

I'm guessing you are actually refering to a NUDE fork ( black carbon weave)
( niner calls there non-painted scandium frame RAW)

According to WRENCH SCIENCE** the tapered fork will be avalible in NUDE.

** Then again, WRENCH SCIENCE has spent the last year trying to get potential customers to plunk down THOUSANDS of dollars BEFORE telling them they don't ACTUALLY have AIR 9 CARBON's in stock.

Yes, sorry, I was thinking about nude fork.

On the side note: anyone else thinks moondust grey looks better on ti frame than nude fork ?

The answer is 'yes'. We will be producing taper carbon forks in 'nude' for those of you who have one of the myriad of other taper frames on the market. One note, the S-Works hardtail with the taper head tube uses a proprietary crown race/headset interface designed by Specialized. The carbon steerer/crown assembly on their custom Reba fork is designed around this special set up, so it fits right in. To use our taper carbon fork on a S-Works carbon hardtail, I understand that you have to use an adapter at the crown race of a normal taper fork. To my knowledge, Specialized does make these, but I've never seen one and most dealers don't know they exist. I'm also not sure if this applies to the new frame (I haven't seen the interface on the 2011 version).
