    SIR 9 - 80mm or 100mm Fork?

I've got a Large EMD that I'm currently running an 80mm Reba SL on. I previously had a Large SIR9 that I ran an 80mm Manitou Tower on (that bike was smooth like butter - only sold it cause it had set screws and creaked BAD). I've also owned a Salsa El Mar that I ran a 100mm Reba SL on. I tend to prefer the 80mm setup for the Niner geometry.

I'm curious what you are currently running, 80mm or 100mm on your SIR9. I've got another one on the way and just curious about if there is a benefit to 100 over 80.

    Thanks.

I ran a 100mm fork on my previous SIR 9 (gen. 1) and liked the way it rode. Have a new SIR 9 on the way and will run 100mm again.

Running rigid carbon on my SIR9 which is I think the same axle to crown as an 80mm. I ran 100mm Reba on my Air9 and liked it. I think the Niner's have such steep head angles that you can afford to slacken them up a bit with a 100mm fork with no negative consequences.

I built it with a 100mm fork. Just lowered the cockpit but flipping my stem and it now sits the same as my EMD with 80mm!

Ran 100 on my MCR and liked it a lot. Went where I pointed it, quick responding, but not twitchy in the least.
