    sag shock measurement

How far from the shock body should the o-ring be for 25% sag? I don't know if the bike uses the full shock shaft. So to measure the sag you would need to know full travel on the shock. I have to boost valve fox on 2010 RIP. Thanks. This bike is FUN.

On the RIP 9, 12.5mm would be exactly 25% sag. Round it up to 13mm, and you'll be good to go.

Thanks Steve. I know I could have e-mail Niner but someone else might want the info. I'm enjoying this bike a lot. Everything I thought it would be and more. It's so much easier to ride and ride faster than my 26". Feels like cheating. More and more of the Ft. Worth Tx. club members are riding the big wheels.

Rone, good to hear you're loving your RIP. It's a FUN bike for sure. It's the perfect play bike. I love getting mine in the air.

Bike 29er, the Jet sag measurement should be 10mm for 25%.

I just asked this question about the WFO, answer for that one is 14mm
Why would I care about 150g of bike weight, I just ate 400g of cookies while reading this?
