    ROS 9 Rigid Fork?

Hey, I just ordered an ROS from Pricepoint ($350... couldn't resist!), and am unsure if I want to run a suspension fork or a rigid. If I shoot for a rigid, what are some options? I do not know what axle to crown would work for a 120-140mm designed bike.

    Any thoughts?

A 120mm fork typically has an atc of 520 or 530mm. Most rigid forks are 470 or 490mm. So let's assume you go with 490, that would steepen your head tube angle by 1 to 1.5deg depending on how you account for sag. You could use an angleset to compensate for the difference in handling. Then you'll need to deal with the added bb drop. I'd estimate about 8 or 10mm. You could run the ebb in the top position i suppose. Seems doable but why? Suspension forks aren't that expensive and that bike is way more rowdy and fun with suspension. If you want really want rigid then I'd go 27.5+ at a minimum. And honestly, you really should sell it and get the 29+ version of the frame. It has handling designed around rigid and you'll get some cush from the tires. This is the same path I went down and I couldn't be happier.

There's not too many 51mm offset rigid forks, Whisky 9 does haven't seen many others, not even Niners carbon forks are 51mm. The steel fork for the ROS9 plus is 51mm and the AC is 470mm, probably good numbers to shoot for on a rigid.
