    RIP9 Seat tube depth

On all the demo RIp 9s I saw the rock shock reverb was half way up - not inserted enough, which prevented from dropping the seat all the way to the seat tube.

How deep is the straight portion - insertion of the seat tube on Rip 9 alu and RDO?

Looking to install KS lev 125 Need 20 sm (about 8 inches)

Also how is the clearance fro tires int eh back. Anybody fit Ardent 2.4 or High Roller 2.3, Hans dampf?

On my 2012 M alu RIP, I was able to get within about a half inch of the collar on the LEV. Almost all the way in.

Not sure about the Ardent or High Roller, but I fit a 2.35 HD in the back with room to spare.

1st up what frame size would you be using ?

I'm running 2.35 Hans Dumpf on the back of my Rip9 RDO & it fits fine with Flows.

I run Ardent 2.4's front and back (on Stan's Arch EX rims): zero clearance issues. I can't speak to mud clearance, though, because I live in Tucson.

Thank you for the replies. Very helpful. I'm looking at the medium frame and 125 KS Lev that has 201 mm insertion.
Great to know about the tires.
