Paint me green with envy! I just bought a RIP9 last fall and can't justify the upgrade with now, but don't mine me while I drool on my keyboard over the picture.

When you see the bikes they don't just look like a longer travel Jet9 RDO, The tubes on these things are monsters next to the Jet9 RDO.

Nice! What size is that? Hmm... 6.45lbs? I thought it was supposed to be sub 6lbs. This is almost 1 lb more than the TBLTc and Spider 29er Comp. Still, 24.5 lb complete is great. Uhg, I sound like weight weenie

Been riding since 1991 and its just nuts that a big wheeled, long travel FS bike can weigh less than 25 pounds. Wow...enjoy. I want one BAD

Wow, 24.45 lbs? I can't get my Jet 9 RDO under 26 lbs! I guess my RS Revelation is a heifer. Where in the world did you find a SID 29er with 120 travel? What are those grips?

I just can't see mine being any lighter than 27Ib

Mine has got XX1 & Dropper post but runs a lighter fork than the Fox 34 ( 140mm Reverlation )

I have Hans Dumpf front & rear.

Just ordered rev fork will run at 130 mm. Have 34 Talas which has a 154 axle to crown. Rev set at 130 should be 138 ac.Thought the fox had a little more chopper feel than I liked. Muzzanic let me know what you think of handling compared to jet rdo mine is not yet as sharp hoping the fork change will do it.

I will get some miles on it today & report back.

Also note that I did alot of playing with my Jet9 RDO & you would be stunned how much the feel of the steering change with wheels,
With Crests the bike felt anything but sharp, But with Flows it was so much more point & shoot.

Then Carbon lifts the bike to a whole new level.

The 2013 Revelation forks are 140-110 if i am not mistaken. How can you set to 130?

Can someone measure the length of the top bold of the shock? Is this 21.85mm? Need this measurement for rwv needle bearing kit

The 110/140 fork is a travel adjust fork.

Niner do a 130 Reverlation & you can also get Reverlation forks in 130mm that you can change to 120 or 140 but you do have to pull them apart to do it.

Mine has got the 140mm RCT3 Reverlation on it.

Looks like we won't need the needle bearing kits for our RIP RDO's as the shocks come with the new mounting hardware that is free spinning.

I have not ridden it yet. Still waiting on wheels, and according to my lbs KS sent the wrong size post, and I ordered the wrong front derailleur! The good news is everything is supposed to be here tomorrow.
It has been a painful wait, but it looks like it is going to be a killer ride, I will post pics tomorrow!
