    RIP 9 lubrication points

So the past few rides my RIP 9 has been creaking like it's an old steam ship. Narrowed it down to the bottom bracket 'area'. Since everything down there is sealed (BB, pivot bearings) it doesn't look like there's much I can do in the way of lube. I was thinking it may be the seat/tune but even when standing (actually, especially when standing) the creaks are there.

Seems like the only time I can get them to go away is the first ride after a wash. Maybe some soap is getting stuck and drying in there somewhere, dunno.

Anyway, have you other RIP, or Niner riders in general experienced and remedied this?

    RIP 9 lubrication points

I have. There is a thread on here about it. Mine was exactly same and was due to pivot bolts. I replaced pivot bearings and problem remained. I finally narrowed it down to the bolts themselves. It resolves if I just turn the bolts using hex wrench -- at proper torques they will spin and not loosen. I turn them in tightening direction to make sure and look on opposite side to see it turning. I do this after washing the bike. The cracking/squeak seems to come from those bolts as they sit in their respective "housings" so to speak.
If you're really honest about it, they're all "cheater lines".
