Protector plate on new alloy RIP9

Mainly posting so I can share some pictures with Cytoe, but I got my new frame yesterday. I put a Cytoe produced protector on the bottom - he was unsure if the one from the old RIP would fit. It does, kind of. The angle its bent at is definitely different and the holes in it are too large for the smaller bolts that are in the frame. I put some washers on and its fine.

I'd be out riding the bike right now, but having issues on the Hope hub conversion to 142 - its binding up. Ugh. So frustrated, been working on that wheel for way too many hours with no idea what's wrong.

Kinda bugs me how it hits the linkage in the middle. Maybe heating it up with a hair dryer would make it more pliable?

I think Cytoe will be making one specifically for this bike, he wasn't sure if this would fit or not. I decided to take the chance, and yeah, I can probably heat it up and take some of the bend out.

I sent him some pics of mine about two months ago. It's also a little wide on the drive side.
