PF30 Bottom bracket options for GXP cranks

    I have a 2012 Jet9 RDO on the way

I plan on running some old GXP cranks on it.

What is my best option to get these cranks to work on the PF30 frame.

For your GXP cranks your best bet is to run a PF30 to English Thread Adapter like the one here - Sram PF30 to English Thread Adapter and then run a standard GXP bottom bracket.

But, if you want to take full advantage of the PF30, I'd go with a PF30 bottom bracket and pick up a BB30 crankset off ebay for cheap. X0's can be found for around $200. If you go this route I recommend the FSA PF30 BB over the SRAM, it is much better.

If I go with the threaded adapter, am I stuck with it? Can it be removed from the frame later without damage?

You can remove it without damage to the frame, but the adapter might get a bit hammered. its basically just plastic.

    Cool, thanks for the info.

Anyone here running one of these adapters? Any issues?

I really want to get some BB30 cranks, but I promised myself I would keep this build on a budget and reuse the components I already have.
