I like the jet carbon better for the trails I ride.Yes it just came out
I'm thinking of selling my Jet RDO and getting the RIP RDO for the added suspension travel, I hope I dont lose too much of the sweet climbing feature that the Jet has to offer
We have four jet RDO's one tallboy and two trek superflies in our riding group. The extra travel on the RIPRDO did not benefit me up or down.I think the jet's are just that good.

Thats great input! I've bottomed out my Jet a few times on some props, seems like another inch or so would do the trick however, most of my "local" daily riding is mostly mellow singletrack and some fire road, not too much technical, rock gardens and drops unless i ride Tahoe or Santa Cruz. It's a toss up. I might go ahead and make the switch, people have really given the RIP some rave reviews
As Global has said the Jet9 Carbon bikes are very good & IMO The Rip9 RDO is a very good bike to.
You need to be pushing your jet9 RDO very hard to ( need ) to go Rip9 RDO.
If you need more plush then It is a very good option.
If your trails are not that hard the Rip9 RDO has the feeling that they are just to easy, Where as the Jet9 RDO will feel a bit more like you are attacking it & are closer to the limit.
I have a 6 Berth & 2 Berth Motorhomes that I rent out . They are based in Tauranga, New Zealand
