    Niner seat collar?

    Any good?

Does it have a lip around the top so it sits flush on top of the seat tube? It looks like it doesn't in the pics. But, Iv'e never seen a clamp that didn't have one.

    How tall is the clamp?

i had to replace my niner seat clamp with a thomson to get rid of seatpost slippage. if your frame comes with one, great.

if it doesn't, and you have to buy one....get a dkg or thomson.

^ it's actually not a Niner. I'm not into 29ers yet. It's to bad, because I went to high school with the founder of Niner and there isn't a nicer guy. But, I need a red collar and I would like to have something Niner on my new build.

My DG was slipping the post like crazy (Even though I had changed the bolt), and the Niner clamp looked sweet. Never had a problem with slippage on the Niner clamp.

I got a Niner clamp b/c I wanted black, and my bike came used with a gold Salsa.

It has a nice clean look, and has the "lip" you are referring to.

I have a Thomson Masterpiece seatpost and have had no problems with slipping.

Both my Jet RDO and my wife's 2012 EMD9 came with the niner clamps installed on the frame.

I have had no issue with slippage on either. Also there is a lip at the top of the clamp as per usual.
