That's TRAGIC!! What is wrong with this world? The MCR was THE best 29er hardtail ever... This is a huge loss for MTBers... whether or not the MTBing world has yet to realize it...

...except the SIR 9 did technically always have the SS or geared option. The MCR also had top cable-routing and a [normal] BB. The SIR is one awesome frame, don't get me wrong... But the extinction of the MCR... it's a damn tragedy... best production geared steel 29er... EVER.

I think they should bring back the MCR as an RDO version made out of titanium. Same geo as the SIR with the option of 1x or SS.
