I only have experience with the standard 9mm and like it very much. Stiff, and able to accomodate a nice, meaty tire. I run a Racing Ralph 2.4 on mine.

That said, I am sure most who have ridden the RDO are very satisfied with it's performance, and likely recommend it.

I've had both (have an RDO fork now). The RDO version takes everything that a rigid fork is/isn't and multiplies it. Upsides- very precise handling in tech stuff, very stiff for standing/climbing, downsides- very slightly less forgiving when you screw something up (a rigid fork is already pretty unforgiving, though... it's very subtle), and slightly stiffer going downhill.

Looking at picking one up gently used. Straight steerer. Any of you still running yours?
    Obviously, you're not a golfer.
