Niner - 2 different colors of Moondust ?

    Hey all,
Take a look at the attached picture. The Frame is a 2011 MCR, moondust.

I bought the fork from the classifieds on this site, in which the guy said the fork was Moondust. However, as you can see.. they don't match. Not really even close. The fork is a lot greener !

Not a biggie, was just curious about this. Could you help me identify the color of the fork ?

    Thanks !

Great question that brings back a bit of Niner history. That color is what we called Godzilla Green. This was on of the very early colors in the Niner palette.

    Thanks,
    Brad

Oops ! It might have been a genuine mistake, he possibly didnt know what colour it was exactly but on its own it looks kind of moondusty

Check the axle-to-crown as well. Some of the earlier forks were 490mm and later (current) ones are 470mm.

I've got a Godzilla green One9 frame hanging in the garage, color is pretty sick but definitely nowhere near moondust.
