    MCR is bigger better

Hey looking at getting a new MCR frame and have a dilema on frk travel.Niners site recommends between 100 and 80 travel.Any peps tried both or can offer an insite based on experience to's and fro's of either fork.

I've always liked the way the Niner HTs handle with the 100mm fork. Having an extra 20mm of travel in the front end far outweighs any "negative" changes in steering quickness.

I just got my MCR 9 delivered from speedgoat a few days ago....with a 100mm fork.

i called Niner, and they confirmed the conventional wisdom, that 100mm actually (very slightly) slackens the head tube angle to make things a little less twitchy and more stable versus 80mm, but either is fine.

I haven't done a back to back comparo though.

135 too much, 110 is nice, for rough trail here in W. Colo.

I run mine with a 100mm Minute and could not see running a shorter fork.

Go for 100mm fork. It's the best setting for MCR9.
