What chainguide did you use in specific for your 1x10 conversion? I cant seem to find one that works for my 104bcd xo crankset. Thanks for the help!

    This:

    e*thirteen components

MRP has one that will work as well, but I much prefer the E13.

    22lbs

    full xo drivetrain
    fox float with kashima coating
    stans arch with chris kings
    formula r1 brakes
    schwalbe racing ralphs 2.25"
    xtr pedals

Any ideas which chainguide I can use for a 1x10 conversion? I have tried the e thirteen XCX-ST and no luck. It doesnt come out far enough.

How has that 32 x 11-36 gearing worked out? Do you race? Do you spin out often?

The 32x11-36T gearing was fine for me. I now have the 32T set-up with the XX1 and its great!

Quit stalking me and post a picture of your RDO build

BTW, I bailed out on the XX1 crank for now due to the 32 tooth max. Since I was only going to run with a 11-36 cassette, I would have slightly less range than the 10-42 XX1 cassette. So, I'm starting the season with XX 2x10. I want to see if any of my competitors are going to run that low of gearing first before I make the jump. I don't want to lose a race because I spin out and can't keep up. Many of my races last year were decided by 5-60 seconds. Spinning out on the flats or downhills would certainly cost me positions if as expected, the races are that close again this year. BTW, if you kick my butt, that will be a great case study to convince me!

Just let me demo your RDO in a few races and I'll feel better ;-)

The build plan with my Air9 RDO Licorice med frame.

    Fork rigid RDO 15mm
    Cranks S2200 (same as XO/XX1)
    Sram XX group and 1 x 10
    Avid WC XX brakes/rotors
Wheels - custom branded carbon rims with Novatec D711/D712 (hubs same weight as DT 240's) about 1450gr for wheel set
Various parts all carbon - post, seat, bars, stem from other builds.
Specialized SW Renegade and Control tires, tubeless.
Candy 1 pedals with Ti spindles

    Figure 17.5 to 18 lbs

How did Scott get Nino's Scale 27 HT with DT Swiss XRC 100? 27" version down to 17.9 lbs!!! DT fork is around 1200gr+ and frame is 950gr, but still! I'd need to build the RDO rigid at 16.7 lbs to equal his build weight - difference in fork weight 550gr. He has the XX1 group as well.

Waiting for a couple parts and wheels. Will post when built.
14 SW Epic WC fm arrived!
    12 Niner Air9RDO -16.4 lb
    12 SJ FSR Exp EVO29 -27
    11 SW Epic29 -22.1
    10 Devinci Wilson 4 -37
