On my Jet 9 I pulled the rear wheel off to check weirdness in the free hub. I undid the QR and had to unthread it to get the wheel out. Looking at the hub, its Stans 3.30, noticed the axle was unscrewed. Repaired, cleaned and lubed the free hub. Going back in with the wheel I notice the rear spacing is bigger than the wheel, check the hub its 135 mm, check the rear spacing on the bike and its 142-143mm. Check Jet 9 catalog and its supposed to be 135 x QR, or so I gather. Is there any Jet 9 at 142 mm rear spacing or did the rear suspension spacing get spread?
Any suggestions for repair? I was thinking to bend it back together, if its bent, but guess that maybe it wont quite get things in the correct position. Though maybe to convert to 142 mm space...but things still probably not in the right alignment....or get new rear suspension.
Hope this is the right place to post this question.
