    I just became a Ninerd

And I only just discovered that term

I've just committed to a 2010 RIP 9 frame and will build it up with the following components (all bought new today except the fork, dropper, saddle, bars and wheels which I have from an old bike):

2010 Large Raw RIP 9 frame
    2011 TALAS 29 15QR 120/95mm RLC kashima fork
2010 Easton Haven magnesium wheels (just bought new bearings for them today).
Maxxis ardent 2.4 front, Maxxis Ignitor 2.1 rear
    Shimano XT M780 38/26 crankset
Shimano XT M780i direct mount shifters
Shimano XT M785 silver / black brakes
Shimano XT M781 GS med cage shadow rear derailleur.
Shimano XT M786 2x10 front derailleur
    Shimano XTR M980 11-34 cassette
    Shimano HG94 chain
    Joplin 4 dropper with remote
Selle italia SLR gel flow saddle
Easton Haven carbon 711mm low riser bars
    Thomson 70mm stem
    ODI rogue grips

Can't wait to build it up. It will complement my other two similar (but not the same!) bikes. I have a 26" 2009 Pivot mach 5 with 150mm fork, and an "all mountain geo" titanium hardtail 29er (69 degree HA, short chainstays etc). All 3 bikes will be awesome fun on the trails.

Sounds like a good, solid build! Be sure to share some pics when you're done...and welcome!
