    Building a 2012 Tangerine One 9

I picked up the frame and fork back in August with the plan of building it up this winter. I finally got around to having the extra cash to finish it so with the final parts arriving Tuesday I just couldn't wait to post up here in the Niner section. This is my dream bike, my Ferrari, my Porsche 911, my Pagani Huayra. I've been wanting to make the switch to a SS 29er for a few years now and finally I'm here.

The rest of my parts came in today. Here is the end result. After I adjust the brakes tomorrow I will adjust the seat and figure out if I want to cut down the steer tube some more.

I took her for her first ride yesterday. Commuted 3 miles to work and loved every bit of it. This bike is just so much fun to ride.

Nice ride! I have a 2012 One9 as well, I spend quite a bit of time on it in the Tempe, AZ area trails. Its my 3rd orange Niner (SIR9 and JET9 RDO), but I have been quite impressed with it. I was worried it would feel harsh compared to my SIR9, but it just feels light and fast. I am thinking about getting a carbon fork, but even with the F29 on it the weight it circa 21 pounds which is fine with me.

Yours looks great with that black shock on the front. I've been considering saving up some more money and ordering a nice 100mm shock to throw on for when I know I'm going out to ride the more difficult trails.

Great looking bike. I had one - but cracked it. Dealer mistakenly replaced it with a black anodized version. Very disappointing, I loved the Tang.
