    Bottom Bracket compatability

I've ordered a Jet9 Carbon frame and I'm a little confused regarding bottom bracket choices. What is the difference between BB30 and PF30?
would this crank and bottom bracket work?
    SL-K Compact DOUBLE 386 BB30 Crankset

    Thanks

PF-30 do just as discribed. They press into the frame. BB-30 thread in. Google search BB standards and does some reading and educate your self.

    Check page 50 here. https://s3.amazonaws.com/NinerDocs/N...RS_UNIVERS.pdf

It's confusing for sure. BB30 and PF30 both use the same universal 30mm crank spindle standard. Where it gets muddy is the bottom bracket. The original BB30 standard uses press-fit bearings and snap rings to hold the bearings in position. This is tough for framebuilders to machine perfectly and can be difficult to execute in Carbon, so SRAM developed the PF30 BB, which uses similar bearings held inside a plastic cup that presses into a slightly larger BB shell. The plastic cup conforms to any imperfections and reduces the possibility of creaks, etc.

The Niner frames take PF30 bottom brackets, which work with any BB30 crankset. There are also adapters that press into the PF30 bottom bracket shell that allow you to use a regular spindle crankset like Shimano.

SO to answer your question about the SL-K, yeah the crankset will work but you need a PF30 bottom bracket instead of the regular BB30 that comes with the cranks.
