    Biocentric II installation

I'm just wanting to install the new Biocentric II EBB, and the Niner manual says to use Oatey's Pipe Joint Compound.

I've searched for this but apparently it is not available in the UK - does anyone know what the equivalent product is in the UK please?

I've used teflon tape on mine with absolutely ZERO issues for a little over a year now.

    Thanks for the responses.

Bought something called LA-CO Slic-tite heavy duty pipe thread compound paste with PTFE - 240ml - I figured this was the closest I was going to get to Oatey's.

Got it delivered from Screwfix - cost 11.

All fitted with new GPX BB, SRAM carbon cranks and 32T chainring. Ready to roll at the weekend.

Can't wait to be getting my old SIR9 single speed back on the trails with new bits on her. That frame is soooo silky smooth.

Fingers crossed with the new Biocentric II and LA-CO Slic-tite...

Replied to your other post, but I'd try Carbogrip if Oatey's isn't available. And always torque to spec.
