Alloy Jet 9 - 80mm vs 100mm on the front
Currently running Reba XX set as 80mm on the front. What should I expect in the way of a handling change by switching it to 100mm. Not racing - technical trails.. small rocks, roots and tight and twisty at times..
Thanks

Do it! The handling is still great with a 100mm fork. The extra 20mm will come in handy on the descents.

Agree, J9 is best with a 100mm up front. Anything more than the steering is way slow.

I have ridden it 80 and 100. It rides much better at 100. Just more stable and more fun.

I agree, run it at 100mm like I do. I haven't tried 80mm.
I rode my mates Anthem 29'er and Pivot 429 and they both felt slower in the steering than a Jet 9 at 100mm. So don't worry about it slowing the steering too much because it doesn't compared to similar bikes.
