Air 9 Scandium to Air 9 Carbon Upgrade Sanity Check

I currently have a v1.2 Scandium Air 9 and Iím considering upgrading the frame to a 2014 A9C frame. Itís built up with 2x10 XT components,

Can someone confirm the only parts I would need to upgrade are below? I figure I can sell the old frame, fork, and headset as package.

    - tapered fork
    - bottom pull/high mount front derailleur

    Here is the current build

Fork Reba RL Dual Air 100mm
    Crankset XT M785 38/26
    Front Derailleur XT M785
    Rear Derailleur XT M780 SGS-L
    Cassette XT M771 11/36
    Chain CN HG-X 10 speed
    Shifters XT M780
    Brakes Avid Elixir 5
    Stem FSA OS-99
    Headset FSA Orbit MX
    Handlebars Truvativ Stylo World Cup
    Seat Clamp Salsa Lip Lock
    Seatpost Race Face Evolve

    According to the website
    AIR 9 CARBON has
the new A9C has a PF30 BB, so you would need a new BB and crank or a PF30 adapter as discussed on page 57 of the owners guide.
    https://s3.amazonaws.com/NinerDocs/N...RS_UNIVERS.pdf

The owners manual still says CYA for the A9C though. Doesn't look like it is current for the A9C. pg 19 and pg 30.

If you want to use your current fork I've seen some guys use reducers for the bottom. In the past I've seen it come with the new headset. Not sure if it does anymore.

This is what you need to adapt your current fork to the headset that comes with the Air 9. FSA Integrated Crown Race Reducer > Components > Headsets and Spacers > Headsets | Jenson USA Online Bike Shop

I'm not real familiar with either bike, but one thing that keeps preventing me from doing something similar is the new 142x12 rear axles. Just make sure that your rear hub is compatible with whatever system comes on the new frame...

Thanks for the replies, Niner got back to me as well. I just need a pressfit 30 to BSA adapter, about $35 and the $8 crown race adapter that was mentioned. The rear spacing is 135mm on both frames so I should be good moving everything over. Now I just need to sell my existing frame so justify the move to the wife.

    Finished build with pictures

I finished my build, overall it went pretty smooth. There were no instructions on the cable routing for the new 2014 Air Carbon, but it turns out it's the same as the RDO so it wasn't too bad. Everything is off my old Scandium Air 9 except the new FD, BB, and crown race adapter.
