    Cool-blue Rhythm (29'ers) | Niner's and WIDE bars!

So everyone else already knew this, but I made the mistake of riding the past few years on 29'ers with my fav 26" bar of which I had multiple for each bike, Easton Monkey Lite SL's, but now I have seen the light.

The monkey lite SL's grew over the years but maxed out at 635mm.

On everyone's advice I bought a 780mm Cobalt 11, for my 29'er hard tail (Cannondale) but I haven't ridden it yet as I wait for my Beer Components EBB to run it SS. Yesterday I swapped my other Easton on my RDO for a Niner Flattop Carbon (710mm) and went for the maiden voyage tonight in heavy rain, over wet root strewn trails.

    The control was fantastic!

Rode the RDO with the mud/wet weather wheels (Nobby Nic's | Projet 321 | Crest | Revolution spoke)

I'm pretty sure I'll cut my Cobalt 11 to 710mm to match as it felt perfect for my body type and riding style, and I only brushed one tree with the bar.

Anyone riding a Niner with a bar under 650mm I hope you have tried a wider bar, if not I recommend you do ASAP.
