    2014 lg rip 9 reverb

looking at a used reverb, would a 420mm be too long for this frame or the 380 be better fit?

No it's not to long, for the bike, What seat height do you run.

    How tall are you ?

Do you have the right size bike for you ??

    I'm 6ft & have my seat 75mm higher than you, I have the 125mm drop Reverb 380mm.

I could only drop my post into the frame another 55mm before the top nut part of the reverb would touch the seat post clamp, You look like you would need to go 75mm, So you may need to go to a 100mm drop & not the 125mm to make it work.

This can change depending on how high your seat is from the rails to the top of the padding, Seats can be almost 20mm difference as well.

Ok I was talking seat height not Rail, Sorry I missed that you went to the rails ( My mistake ) so that makes another 55mm difference.

You should ( Just ) be ok with 420mm, I would go 380mm though.
