Well it's finished, the day before I leave for the mega

I'll be the guy at the back mincing down mountain and walking up the hills.

    From this

    To this

    To this

A couple of things to tidy up, I'll be changing the bash guard, and I'll be sorting out the seatpost cable once I am certain of the height I'll be running it at.

    your design drawing stipulates 545mm A2C but those 180's are 565mm A2C..........
that'll throw out the geometry a bit.

it's unlikely to be rubbish - why not run 35 to 40% sag...........?

although as you went custom, why not get it set for 565mm a2c ?

do nicolai warranty 180mm forks on the AM ?

We will see when I get to the alps on Monday, there is no where bumpy enough around me to set it up properly. Should be cool.

In all fairess, for the week in the alps it's a good thing that the ha will be 1 degree slacker.

    I like it.

I also like the idea of the 180 floats. Sod the warranty, the AM used to be warranted to 170mm any how. Travel limits as defined in manufacturers warranties, to a certain extent, help define model disparity.

    A few Q's

Ian, please say you weighed the floats before mounting?
    whats is your new HA?
    Whats your static BB Hieght?
can we have a perfect side on shot?
    Whats does the bike weigh?

    Go rip the mega!!
