Crown arrived today.Went out for an hour to my local hill to have a play and start to set things up.It has some very rocky and fast descents and a few quite steep sections

First impressions-----Dam its fast .Its very stable and geometry seem very good,Not as slack as some DH bikes i have ridden.
BB seems to be a reasonable high maybe a tad high.
Quick word about the forks/shock..The forks are a few years old,They are fox 40 rc2 not sure if they have been serviced recently, but if the weather is rubbish saturday i will do a lower leg service on them, they seem to work very well and are very controlled,Rebound and compression stroke are very very smooth.
Now it has a Rockshox Vivid 5.1 on the rear,All i can say about this shock is WOW its bloody amazing(i had a ccdb on the fr) seems to soak up every thing i could chuck at it,The adjusters all work properly and you can feel a difference, when you adjust them.
I am very impressed so far and would like to thank Whafe for sorting out and packing it(most of it ) cant wait to ride again, probably need to hit some more stuff and fiddle with a few of the settings to get it spot on.

Yeah, just didnt get enough use to be honest, no real lift assisted riding in my area really... So wasnt hell bent on selling it. I am a little odd in that would only want a Nicolai to go to a fellow Nicolai peep....

Yes, I packed it all up great, but forgot the top crown off of the fork, call me clown pants... We sorted it, easier to get one in the UK...

The only servicing the Fox 40's have had, was by the Fox dude at Crankworkz... They have had very little use to be honest... A week at Whistler, had the FR also there, and a a couple of days in NZ..... Am happy she has gone to a good home.....
