i have just bought a helius cc rohloff 2007. the previous owner had the suspension and shock set up really hard, but i have set it up nice and plush for some all-mountain use.
on my first ride the chain was thrown off the raceface evolve 38t crank, every time the shock compressed to near full travel wen i jumped, or rode over an obstacle.
from reading the rohloff manual it says a rohloff chain guide is required with a full sus, but these are £50. is this the best option? or should i consider other chain guides e.g. e-thirteen guides?
p.s. despite the chain falling off, this bike rocks! will have to post some pics soon. cheers, ian
