    rear end off set

Is the rear end of a nicolai helius FR offset? my seat stays seem to be. If I unload all the bearing they sit nicely. however when I preload the bottom bearning of the link the seat stays seem to move so the left hand one is about half/1 mm or so closer to the seat tube.

    somethings wrong isn't it?

They can be. The rear wheel is aligned perfectly with the front - that's what you need for the bike to run true - but that doesn't mean the rear triangle will appear to be perfectly aligned with the seat tube.

    Hi Simon

    Thanks for the speedy responce.

for example, so long as the shock can move to differnet travel settings on the link freely I shouldn't worry.
