    New RP23...

Love my CCDB but want to put the AM on a diet....

Going to get a loan of one of Dippers Bos Viprs to try but no UK service scares me.

Anyone tried out the new RP23 on an AM for general Trail/Scotland duties?

Got one on my AC 29er. Kashima loveliness. Various tunes, numbers and black magic now available from mojo / fox.

Nicolai don't supply Fox shocks from the factory so won't necessarily have yet been able to test them - especially as the current range has only just reached the market.

As a general rule the Helius works best in a medium tune in most shocks - too much compression damping doesn't do small bump performance any good - and medium rebound tune (I tend to run the rebound setting close to the middle on my 2010 RP23).

The Helius also works better with low volume air cans than it does with the HV cans in my experience so you may want to look at adding some reducer spacers as I believe all the shocks are now HV as standard.

The Float shocks seem to have changed significantly each year over the last few years so hard to keep track of the best settings for every iteration.

Been running a Vipr from dipper...feels really nice even after coming off a ccdb....

Just the lack of service etc in UK scares me.

Anyone had any problems with the Vipr?
