Hey Transmental, great looking bike. See it is a large and I was wondering how tall you
are? Like the look of those Funn pedals. How do you find them?

Really nice! Boxxer WC, DHX 5.0, Blue hope, Sunline bar and stem, nice!! A quick question, where did you found Sunline V1 bar and the Boxxer specific stem?

I'm not in to my down hill only bikes but that I do like alot...
I do like the look of the chain set which reminds me that there is just the same make and model in a box under the stairs ! Maybe time to fit it ready for the Alps in 4 weeks time.
Nicolai Bikes in the South of England head to..

Transmental, I'm about the same height, how do you find the fit of the bike? Is it on the
    small side or about right?

Who says it doesnt rain in Australia??

After a few runs the main thing to note is how low and slack this bike is, If I had run anymore that a Gamut P30 I belive It would have taken a beating..

    Something different

After cleaning out my headset yesterday arvo I decided to give this a crack.
Put the Fox Van 36's that are sitting in the shed on the nicolai.

After reading up on the travel setting of the UFO frame I discovered its able to be set at 165mm, 175mm, 185mm, and 195mm. So I know have a bike with the same geo as the bottlerocket and 160mm upfront and 165mm rear travel. Bottom bracket hight is almost the same too!

It gets even better! In 5 min I can have the Boxxers back on and in DH mode

Hey, a true all rounder indeed... you will have to give us a ride report in all settings, especially with the Fox Van on the front. If it pedals well, it could be a good all round machine. Looks the nuts by the way....

Thats a bad ass bike... DH rig and SStyle machine in one.... whos ya dadddddddy

Hey out of interest does the UFO suffer from the same characteristics that affect a lot of single pivots - ie a bit of locking up under braking? I notice the pivot is totally in line with your chain so maybe not.
