I am back on the AC

I am now back on the bike

Near the end of Autumn,i was out riding and departed company from my bike,i landed ok but felt a small pain in my knee,I carried on riding, was another 17 miles until i got home.
Next day my knee wasnt feeling very good, and was painfull for a few weeks.

When riding i could feel my knee joint hurting.
I stopped riding for a few weeks and tryed again, same problem.Left it a few months and tryed again, still painfull.

Then waited until just after xmas, did a ride, knee felt ok at the time but ached badly the next day.

I have been very busy recently but decided i had waited long enough, and went out 2 weeks ago,did about 7 miles on local flatish tracks, next day knee was ok.

Went out yesterday and did a 12 miler, included a few more interesting sections,no problems today.

going to take it easy for a while and gradually build up the miles and technical sections.

Fingers crossed that my knee has now fully sorted itself.

    AC felt amazing.

Waiting for some seals and oil to arrive for the Devilles, and will have the CCDB serviced in the summer, also have a Monarch plus to try.If that feels good will buy one and sell the CCDB.

Did have a Reverb but have sold it,will buy another in the summer if i feel i need it.

Good work..... Know those Pesky little nagging injuries... Seems to get worse as we get older, although, not like we are old....

Good to hear you're doing better on that knee, bro. You should see a physician, just in case.

But I know the feeling. My right shoulder is aching badly for no apparent reason. There are days that I can barely lift it over my head and when I do push ups, I can feel a thread of pain going from my shoulder to my elbow.

Went to the doctor yet to check that shoulder? Beyotch, please!

OTOH, funny how riding cures most of UGI, doesn't it?

You have me here searching for deals on this and that, daydreaming just the same about a custom UK-made steel roadie or a bigger brother for my AC.

When I get hone and throw a leg over the Panzer, all UGI instantly blurs away. I have parts that, just like you, I haven't installed on the bike. I have some flat pedals, along with 5.10s to install; I put SKF fork seals on my Revelation... only to have it sitting like 6mo already because I'm using a Nixon now.

I finally got me a roadie. Old bike that used to belong to my cousin. Already bought a few parts and (obviously) tyres for it... and I haven't even ridden it yet.

With my work schedule, the two bikes I own now is two bikes too many. The Nicolai is overkill for my home turf, etc.... ahhh, nothing a good ride can't cure!

Free pic, totally unrelated, just because it has a Nicolai and I think threads should have pics.

I hope it's for the right reasons, bro.

If it's for the wrong reasons, I hope you have the least time to ride.

    Chin up, bro! Best vibes!

    Brilliant!!

I'm on the other side of the fence. I have a terrific job that hasn't really allowed me to touch a bike in months... I'm pretty frustrated bike-wise.
