    Hope V2 special edition sale

hopefully this is ok on the forum, but I wanted to offer them to Nicolai owners first I'm selling my special edition 'hint of green' Hope Tech V2's, as a result of a very tempting offer due to me trying to lighten the AM as much as I can for some events I've entered.

They are minty, complete with 203/180 black floating rotors, braided hoses, Ti bolts and custom black matchmaker clamps, in this case shimano right/rear, SRAM left/front as I'm running a HS, standard clamps also included obviously. Still have the boxes too.

They have been fitted to my helius AM but only for a couple of months and done very low mileage, the pads are worn in but not really worn. There is no damage on them, as I said minty.

RRP is over 450 without the clamps etc. Absolutely lovely brakes, amazing modulation and power and in this guise the same weight as a tech M4. If I had an air shock they'd be staying on!

First options to the Nicolai forum, before putting any 'adverts' elsewhere.

    Looking for 300 + p&p

PM me if interested and you want pics but they are as described.

Impressive, with 203/183 rotors, adaptors and matchmakers. I could only find STD brakes at that price!

Where from tho. Hard to beat Dipper normally. I've decided to keep mine, was looking at xtr but with all the ti hardware and the same rotors and having to use separate shifter clamps I think there's only 170g in it. Whilst not insignificant, the feel of the Hopes is fantastic, they're easy to bleed and pads are ubiquitous, cheap and last well plus I can get all the spares, so they're staying.
Bars, grips chain and cassete being 'reviewed' instead, I reckon there's 280g in them.

I have read people complaining about hopes as they're heavy and unreliable (!). The weight difference is so little in real world terms, plus the performance is superb - and in my experience, hope brakes have been fantastically reliable for the 8 odd years I've been using them. If i were you, I'd keep them!
