Great looks, but why did they use that old-fashioned gussets TT/ST (non milled-type gussets typically sorted out since 2010)? Hope your gearbox unit works flawlessly. Have fun!

I don't know, i think they use this one when gusset are very short because i have no requierement for gusset .

    That's friggin' awesome... Totally sweet...

Makes me think about getting the mothership to make me a 650B rear triangle with thru-axle... Scratch that, makes me want a Pinion!

internal geared bottom bracket (IGBB) is innovative and the first real improvement in cycling design in a long time IMHO. I never liked IGH rear wheels but this is something I can totally support.

    Thanks for leading the charge

Source? It runs in an oil bath, there shouldn't be anything to grease.

    Simon,

I wrote to the mothership, but no answer.
Are the new 2013 rockers for the AC retrofittable to a 2010 AC?
What would be the expected travel of the two positions if so?

Thanks and sorry for bothering you.

I suspect not but you never know. Next time I speak to them I'll ask.

My dealer informed me last week after my request on the availability of the Pinion that they were'nt ready since the maintenance interval was still to limited.....

man, man this will have to be my next bike although I am still having difficulty to choose between the AC 29-er or 650B....:)

so have a ride on both bikes and you will find out, I have decided to stay with the 26 "AC Pinion and do not regret it. such a bike is careless and drives just great. This gearbox is incomparable, I can only say great.

mmm, need to talk to Nicolai soon :).

I'll stick with either 29-er or 650B. Although I know geo is essential, I am still a tall guy (191cm) and need more than 26'' (also for my riding)

I'd discount the Wurzelpassage shop on the basis of the ludicrous photos on their home page. But that's just a personal feeling. :-)
