    Has anyone had any experience with the Monarch4.2 on AM

    Hey guy's is anyone running Monarch4.2 on the AM. Frame will be used as AM/XC

    yes - but not the 57mm stroker.

    great shock, lots of rebound adjustability and the threshold adjust really works too....

    however, mine is on the shelf as i replaced with a 57mm CCDB which is sensible for the trails i generally ride. for xc/am , the 4.2 is an EXCELLENT choice, with more adjustability and 'envelope' than the RP23...........

    Thanks for the info Nicolai is really high on the rear shock. What stroke did you have on it?

    eh ? sorry, don't understand ?
    mine was 51mm stroke on a 3:1 leverage ratio, giving only 153mm travel

    32 float on the AM will REALLY steepen the head angle.

    fwiw, my talas 36 on my AM with 57mm CCDB @ 167mm option runs 68.5 deg HA.
