Got a day in on the Helius FR at Northstar

Here is a link to a post when I had a day at Northstar Bike park in North Tahoe, Ca...

Had a blast, really dry dry trails though, only the one day, so like normal more days and time is needed....

    Awesome!

How many runs does that place have.. the lifts for the bike look well set up.

Do you tweak the CCDB at all for Downhill riding?

Karve, there are a heap of runs for sure, I only like rode 4 runs, then did the same one a few times, hard with only one day there.... The bike racks on the lifts are very flash indeed, they have spent some big bucks for sure...

Did not adjust the CCDB at all, didnt really feel the need.... Guess could have had a play...

Sweet area for a vacation, but myself, if I could go to one park for a riding vacation, would go to Whistler instead.......

I agree Whafe. We went there in '03 as part of our Vancouver vacation but I only had one afternoon on a bike. Would love to go back.

I managed to include 2 days in the bike park at Whistler in 2007 at loved it. Would love to go back with some friends for longer..
I managed to ride with a local couple who where out for a morning after the big night out ! They where both very hung over and both on Trek Session 10's I think. We went up to the top and did Fright Train, It was my 1st time to the top and following a pair who live local was just out off this world if not a little scary ! It was a real eye opener and they where very friendly.
It would be nice to take the FR out there as I used a Rocky Mountain Switch 2.0 that was when used to say the least..

Hard to not compare other spots to there either when riding other bike parks
