A funny thing that happened to you ... : )

Took the AM out to Leith Hill today after 1 and 1/2 yrs ... due to a slipped disc and a lower back surgery last year ...

It was wonderful to be out again ... came to a short north shore section and decided to WALK IT ... and ... I managed to slip off the side and have this to show ... dang!!!

A funny thing that happened to you ... : )-20110522-funny-thing-happened-you-mtbr-forum.jpg

btw ... Met Jon (Karve) just before that section and if only he had a camera ... I can only laugh about it ... Good to see you again mate ... David

Another example of why Facebook is bad for the internet. I don't use Facebook and can't see the vid. :-(

I was out that way on Saturday and managed to pull/tear an intercostal muscle (without a proper fall). Great riding though stupid injuries are always the worst.

Where's the NorthShore on Leith these days?

It's a really short section at the bottom of Redlands (next to Leith Hill) ... you are only there because that is the only way through the undergrowth and the singletracks before it, is really good and technical ... esp with some rain before that ...
