A few shots on the AFR

Got out yesterday for a run down a local DH trail and get some pics... AFR is a blast with the new, slacker geo (64.5* HTA) when used as more of a mini-DH bike. The extra wheel base really helps with stability but it still loves to pop off of jumps with the tight chainstays.

Thanks again to John @ Bike Medics and the guys at Nicolai for turning this beast out in time for me to finish off my season. Headed back to Winter Park for the closing weekend!

As much whipage as I could manage on a tight landing -

    Steeper than it looks -

    Also quite steep -

X on our rhythm line -

Road gap over the top of Mrs. Err -

Thanks, that log is a good time. Steep, sandy entrance with nearly 90 deg turn, roll over the root ball then down the steep log, dodging the standing trees and then a drop at the end. Amusing for certain.
