Always liked the urban camo, looks great with the new BOS Devilles. 160 or 170? What's the shock, hard to tell from pics?

Agreed on the Urban Camo... the most gorgeous of the bunch. The others are "only" beautiful besides it.

the ion18 is whatever you want it to be. based on the specs i thought nicolai had lost the plot and killed the AFR for a bike only suited to DH/FR(150 rear, low bb etc). Turns out its just as capable as the AFR at climbing but handles a good bit better on the downs. its a great allrounder. that ones 38lb with dh wheels, hammerschmidt and coil. 35lb should be easy enough which takes it within 1lb of the AM!

Ahhh makes sense now, was wondering what the difference was between the ion18 and ion20. Could you still build one as a full on dh bike and how would it preform in comparison to a ion20?

Can't see why not. It's got 2 travel settings. 180 and 200 and can take 200mm forks. No idea about how it would compare to the ion20 as I've not ridden one.

Whafe you're like the Adam and Eve of the forum really aren't you; the primary progenitor of all our children!

Dipper I see now what you mean about our respective AMs being rather similar. Bit of Jedward moment going on here!

Seriously wish it was a click of the fingers to have us all in the same location for a HUGE group Nicolai ride....

To be honest though, am pretty disappointed that no one has bought their Nicolai down under to New Zealand for some riding....

    Sort it out fella's
