I'm running the larger sprockets to lessen anti squat and pedal kickback.
In case anyone was wondering…our Helius AM Pinion frames can fit 27.5 wheels in the back…newly mounted..going to trail ride it tomorrow to test…
I have a question. This bike is far out of my current reach, but I vow one day I will own one. What kind of rear hub will be best for the bike? Would a single speed specific hub work? thanks
Yes, single speed would be ideal and Pinion sell a suitable hub.
However, when i was speccing mine I went for a standard cassette carrier wheel as the SS hubs seemed to be heavier and there were none around in 12mm bolt through.
