I might be interested if it was a bargain but not @ 1550 and no 1.5" is a pitty. Do like the colour though, very nice. Really want an AC but if the price was right.

Why you not building it up?

Mr Nicolai still says 1 1/8 is just fine, especially with Nic. tolerances and design; stated in the current catalog.

At over 2k now I think aren't they, 1500 would be a major saving over new but new! That would be a bargain in my book.

If I hadn't just bought one, I'd have it!

Would be willing to shift about a bit on the price. Debated on which headtube to go for, but in the end I seen no real disadvantages with the 1 1/8. Derek feel free to ping me on PM if you like. Selling as put the money and time commitment into photography and travel - and finally accepted it suits the lifestyle I have right now compared to when living up north.

the_pilot, not sure on frame costs changing, but I did hear the anodizing cost has crept up a bit to 350.
