AM brake hose length help please ?

Guys , i bought a set of XT brakes for my "soon to arrive AM" , i was not happy with them because the 2 i was tossing up over were Hope Tech M4 and Formula K18/K24's

I have just found the importer here in Oz and he can do me a set of K18's at a VERY good price , he will also cut and bleed to my required lenght of hose before sending them to me .

So it would be sensational if a few of yous with AM's could tell me the lenght of your hoses so i could get an average lenght measurement of them, which means i could order the brakes before my frame arrives .

Im bloody impatient and need to get on it ASAP .

    Thanks in advance

    False alarm

I canned the k18 idea and have just ordered Hope Tech M4's with braided lines and floating rotors. So i'll have to do them myself when i get them.

    Thanks

Tech 4's look sweet, the machining is awesome... Give me Magura's any day though......

You'll prob get away with the front hose on the hopes - It'll be the rear that'll need cutting for sure unless you want a big loop @ the bars.

    Cheers derek

Will get a look into shortening the hose AFTER i get a couple of rides in ..... waiting patiently for the frame to roll up
I got the shock and forks today ...Bloody 10 weeks to get a set of 36 floats over here, just as well i was waiting on the frame ! My RP23 was only 1 week.
I changed my mind on the brakes and i ordered an Acros deep headset, so that will be the only hold up once i get the frame.
