    AC29er sizing

Ok so situation as follows: I planned to get an AC29 (which is now discontinued for 2014). I now would have the possibility to get a 2013 frame in size M at a good price. The problem is that I'm rather tall (6 ft 2 inch with a 34 inch inseam) and unsure wether the medium one would not be too small. My current bike is a Niner MCR in large that fits really well. I didn't own a full suss for quite a while, so I'm not sure geometry-wise wether to go for the same sizing as I would for XC,especially that I would like go have a quick turning bike.
What do you think, is the medium too small for the intended purpose?

I am slightly taller than you, but in my opinion a medium will be to small to be honest....

It is not a play bike to throw around, so needs to fit well.

So think you really need a large....

    hi whafe,

I checked the geometries of several bikes that fit me back and forth, and unfortunately, I guess you´re right! Anyhow, thanks for your input.

also agreed. im 6' and have ridden both a medium and large. i can get away with either but the large allows me to use a shorter stem. at 6'2" id say you need a large

As above, I think you'll need a large. I'm also 6ft 2" with a 34" inside leg, and I ride a large 2013 AC 29er. I haven’t tried a medium but I reckon it will be too small for someone of your (my) stature, especially if you’re planning to fit a straight dropper post and 50/60mm stem.
