    dirt jumps on private property

The large dirt jumps are on land not owned by UNC. The land owner has recently put up no trespassing signs up. So basically they're gone too.

    crabtree dirt jumps

The crabtree dirt jumps look pretty good to me, but I'm more of a XC kind of guy. The crabtree jumps are official and not bandit jumps. Currently crabtree is closed because of rain. See this URL for more info on all of the local triangle trails:

riding some of the spiderweb trails out there. Looking for people to ride with. I know the fun stuff is still out there but LOTS of trails to sort through. Got some 'insider' info on how to find them. Send me an email if you want to meet up for some riding.

Which side of the tracks were you on? School side or airport side?
Are you looking for XC riding or something more freeridey?
The school side is spider webby and it's hard to get flow. The airport side is better for flow, but CH is a tight place.

XC is good, freeride is better. Riding is riding, I'll take what I can get.... :-)

Here's a loop I do on the airport side for like 15 to 16 miles of XC.

never rode that side. Only been to the HS side twice from the Bolin Creek side, by the car. I don't have the endurance to make it more than 5 miles right now. Just starting back up, been a couple years. I've been riding at little river until recently (when I've gone).

found the dirt rhythm section with the jumps (no trespassing signs were absent) and also the dismantled board walks. Did a nice 6 mile ride there the other day but unfortunately broke my derailleur playing around at the house. Got to get my bike up and running so I can head back. I plan on heading to the other side by the airport soon though. Looks fun.
