Winter riding in the Syracuse area

Looks like will finally move to Bville in about a week (supposed to close on the house this week) and already wondering where we can go and do some snow riding.

Which trails will remain open?

Great Bear is open to bikes year round.

Depending on what tires you use, it's good up to 3-4 inches of snow.

Oneonta is about an hour and a half east/southeast of Syracuse and we've got some stellar riding here. Farther from the Lake, so less snow generally. Enough trails for a solid 4 hour ride without riding anything boring. I'd be happy to show you around.
