    Goosepond Mountain State Park

Anyone riding here? What's it comparable to? Is there a map? Any info would be appreciated.

It's a decent set of trails, it's like a mini version of Stewart, but will be completely overgrown by mid to late June. Right now is when it is at it's best.

Joe Fix Its in Monroe has some photocopied maps that you can pickup for free, but they're honestly not that good. The best thing to do is just explore.

I should mention that if you're coming from the 17m/Monroe side, the trails to the right side of the main fire road are the more flowing singletracks. The trails on the left mostly start with very steep climbs.

Fun place to explore, used to be a community until the 60's or so. Old cemetery, foundations, farm equip etc. Make sure your legs are ready to pedal, lots of long climbs.
